Old Paint, New Haunt: A Spooky Upcycled Paint Night

Every old painting has a story and in this Saturday night paint class, we're giving it a spooky new one.

Join us for Saturday BYOB Paint Night as we take thrifted paintings (think landscapes, old barns, quiet country scenes) and upcycle them into something delightfully haunted. Picture a cute little ghost wandering up a lane toward a barn, or a spooky tree creeping into a peaceful landscape. It's all about taking artwork that deserves another story and giving it new life for the Halloween season.

Taught by Katie, whose energy and endless bag of techniques will have you covered, we're talking translucent paint, glow-in-the-dark paint, and more to make your piece extra fun (and extra spooky once the lights go down).

This is a BYOB night, so bring your favorite drink, bring snacks, and come ready to hang out and get a little spooky with us.

A couple of things to know:

• Canvas/painting is not included in registration. You're welcome to thrift your own painting and bring it, or choose from our selection of thrifted paintings available that night, ranging from $1–$15 (just covering our cost).
• Class fee: $35 (plus the cost of your painting, if purchasing one of ours)
