Nature Journaling
Nature Journaling
Saturday, October 17th | 9-12 PM | $50
Adults + Teens 14+
Join us at Domas Studio for a relaxing morning exploring our pollinator garden before creating a one-of-a-kind nature journal.
We'll begin with a leisurely stroll through the garden, gathering natural treasures and inspiration for our journals. Then we'll return to the studio, where you'll transform your collected finds and personal keepsakes into a beautiful mixed-media journal spread.
Nature journaling is a creative, layered art form that blends collage, scrapbooking, and storytelling. Using a combination of papers, natural elements, and found objects, you'll create pages filled with texture, color, and personal meaning. It's the perfect way to preserve memories while expressing your creativity.
Throughout the class, you'll be guided through techniques for layering, composition, attaching materials, and building visually rich journal pages. This is a relaxed, exploratory workshop focused on creative expression rather than perfection.
All supplies are included, including a small journal and a variety of materials to enhance your pages. If you plan to continue journaling beyond the class, you're welcome to bring your own journal instead. You are also encouraged to bring a few meaningful items you'd like to incorporate, such as:
- Photographs
- Notes, letters & poems
- Fabric scraps
- Pressed flowers or fall leaves
- Any small mementos that tell your story
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to slow down, connect with nature, preserve special memories, and create something uniquely personal.
No experience is necessary just bring your curiosity and creativity, and enjoy a morning of nature, art, and inspiration.
