June 3, 10, 17 & 24
Ages: Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Calling all young storytellers and artists! This creative summer series invites students to explore the exciting world of writing and illustration. Each week focuses on a different storytelling theme where students will imagine characters, build short stories, and bring their ideas to life through drawing and illustration.

Students can join for one session or all four, allowing families to work around summer schedules while still giving kids the chance to dive into storytelling and creativity.

Pricing:
• Single Session: $30
• All 4 Sessions: $99

June 3  - Create a Character

Every great story starts with an unforgettable character. In this session, students will invent their own main character by thinking about personality, appearance, and special traits. They’ll write a short introduction to their character and illustrate a full character portrait to bring them to life.

June 10 - Build a Magical World

Where does your story take place? Students will imagine a unique setting for their story, anything from enchanted forests to futuristic cities. Young writers will create a short story scene and design an illustrated map or landscape of their story world.

June 17 -  Adventure Storytelling

Every story needs a problem to solve! In this class, students will write a short adventure story where their character faces a challenge or obstacle. They will illustrate an action moment from their story to capture movement and excitement.

June 24 - Make Your Own Mini Book

In the final session, students will combine the storytelling and illustration skills they've learned to create a mini illustrated book. They’ll develop a short story with multiple pages and illustrations, leaving camp with a finished book they wrote and illustrated themselves.
