Have you been curious about clay but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full pottery class? Or maybe you’ve worked with clay before and simply want more time to play, explore, and practice?

Join Ashley for an Open Studio Clay Experience at Domas Studio.

This two-hour session is designed to give participants the opportunity to spend time with clay in a relaxed, supportive environment. Explore hand-building techniques, experiment with forms, practice new skills, or simply enjoy the experience of creating with your hands.

One of the most important things to understand about pottery is that not every clay experience needs to end with a finished piece. Sometimes the most valuable part of working with clay is simply becoming familiar with the material itself—learning how it feels, how it moves, and how it responds. The only way to become more comfortable with clay is to spend time with it.

Your $20 studio fee includes access to clay, tools, workspace, and guidance from Ashley throughout the session.

If you create a piece that you absolutely love and would like to keep, firing services will be available for an additional fee. Ashley will have a pricing guide available based on the size and complexity of the piece. These fees cover the firing process, glazing, and preparation for pickup.

This session is open to all ages, making it a wonderful opportunity for children, teens, adults, and families to experience clay together.

Come explore, experiment, and get your hands dirty. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to create.
