Join us for this creative, personal journey and bring your writing & illustrations to life. This class is designed for anyone who feels the pull to tell a story, write a poem, put words and/or pictures on paper. Rather than focusing on completing a full book in one sitting, over several weeks we will create a space you can explore the creative process behind writing and illustration while giving you the support and momentum to move your ideas forward.

Throughout the course, we will work through a variety of writing prompts, illustration exercises, and concept development activities that help shape narrative, visual storytelling, and personal voice. Participants will receive guidance and encouragement as they experiment, refine ideas, and stretch creatively.

Several different outcomes are possible during this course. You may walk away with a clearer vision of the type of book you want to create and the message you want it to carry. For others, this time may provide the push needed to continue or complete an existing project. And for many, it may simply become a deeply productive creative block, leaving with a notebook full of concepts, sketches, story ideas, and inspiration to continue the journey.

This intensive welcomes writers, illustrators, and curious creatives alike. No previous publishing experience is required, only a willingness to explore, imagine, and create.
