Explore one of the most satisfying decorative techniques in ceramics through the art of sgraffito.

Sgraffito is a process where layers of colored slip are applied to clay and then carefully carved away to reveal contrasting colors beneath. The result is a striking design filled with line, texture, and visual depth.

In this workshop, participants will create their own decorative ceramic tile while learning how to plan a design, apply colored slip, and carve detailed imagery into the surface. Whether you prefer botanical designs, abstract patterns, meaningful symbols, or illustrative imagery, this process offers endless opportunities for personalization.
